The Three Big Religions Must Reconsider Some of Their Current Teachings

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are the big three religions in the Western world. Their teachings differ because they have different scriptures. Judaism uses the Old Testament. Christianity uses the New Testament. And Islam uses the Qur’an. The teachings of their scriptures differ and have led to conflicts and wars for centuries even though their scriptures are based on the same monotheistic God. What are the causes of these differences?

Judaism and Christianity believe that their scriptures are linked by inspirations of God. These two religions thus believe that both of their scriptures are divine words of God. Islam believes that the language of the Qur’an is the language of God and contains the final divine words of God. All three religions believe that the world is coming to an end, all people will be judged by God, and all people will be either rewarded with a life in Heaven or punished with a life in Hell. Although these three big religions have conflicts today, their fundamentalistic religious practices and teachings are similar and merely express differently the way the world might come to the end.

To me, the three big religions have essentially created a single religion. Thus, like polytheism was given a limited life by Abraham’s monotheism, the single religion formed by the scriptures of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam will also have a limited life. I predict the limited life of the three big religions in the Western world because man’s monotheistic ideas are growing and slowing destroying the ideas of the three big religions. I also say that no wars can ever stop this growth.

This prediction is based on the following beliefs: (1) that God and his creation are endless and (2) that the power of the human mind is developing divine abilities since it is not a power received from Nature.

    response to mosheh,

I know enough about Judaism to make statements that might disagree with you.

For instance, Jews are deists. Thus, to a Jew, God is not active.

To be consistent with deism, a deist must accept the possible degeneration of man to irrationalities, which is Hell. A deist must also accept the atheistic end, which is the physical end of the universe.

I did not say that Jews believe that the new testament is the word of God. I said that the Jews and Christians both believe that their scriptures are the words of God.

Perhaps my knowledge of Judaism is more modern than your knowledge of your own religion. This can happen with progress because people in today's modern world are more conscious than the people who lived during the ancient world.

    response to mosheh,

Today four basis theologies are being praciced --- pantheism, deism, theism, and panentheism. I discuss them on p.9 of my book.

Which one is the Jewish belief? I am saying that the Jewish belief is not pantheism, theism, or panentheism. Thus, deism must apply to all Jews.

Perhaps you can give me clues so that I have some too.

I don't agree with the way that you divide theology; like I said before, I think you should read some Heschel.

    Jews are theists.

Are the writings of Heshel on the Internet?

I don't believe that Jews are theists. An active God is really active. One cannot say that God is active if God is not active.

Stop this nonsensical disagreement and actually discuss empirical facts! Helps in both parties' credibility..

    response to anonymous,

Don't try to speak of my purposee of writing before you know my purposes of writing.

Religions and political have a tendency to use languages loosely. This use causes cultural and political conflicts.

I am not trying to separate religions and political parties. As a scientist, I am pushing for precisions with respect to the concepts used in national languages.

Thus, if God is said to be 'active,' a religion should be able to identify God's activities. I am only seeking the activities of the Jeweish God.

I am not referring to that. The fact is mesheh did say he was a Jew, and does not believe in your God. You, a non-Jew, are telling him what HIS belief is. Are you not simply trying to create circular answers rather than complying to what mesheh had said previously?

    response to anonymous,

My effort to encourage precise national languages throughout the world is to reduce logical reasoning to its truth. Today, logical reasoning is terrible.

I am actually trying to eliminate circular reasoning and eliminating words that have arbitrary meanings.

The point I am making is that the Jewish God is not active but that the Christian God is active. So, the Jewish God and the Christian God are really different.
