Theological Science* and the Failures of a Free Market Economy
One way is the trickle-down intervention. Also known as the supply-side intervention, the trickle-down way feeds new capital into the top 5% earners. The second way feeds new capital money into the lower 95% of earners. It is called the trickle-up intervention. Both ways increase the national debt.
In the presidential election this year, John McCain proposes the trickle-down intervention. On the other hand, Barack Obama proposes the trickle-up intervention. The National Debt Clock (click) indicates that the trickle-up interventions by Presidents Roosevelt and Clinton eliminated the new national debt whereas the trickle-down interventions by Presidents Reagan and the Bushies only increased the national debt. So, there is a sound reason why people should vote for Barack Obama this year.
However, if Obama wins, the USA would be also winning something. Obama’s win with the trickle-up intervention would be aimed at eliminating the national debt. With Obama’s win, the national government would also be able to make long-term national goals. Such goals are needed to make all U.S. citizens equal, as God does create all humans.
Asking a few U.S. rich citizens to guide the future of all citizens with a trickle-down intervention is wrong because these humans are not gods. Today, rich and poor citizens are still filled with many evils.
