In this blog, I discuss the contribution of Jesus Christ to man’s knowledge of the Intelligence Design. An old art of Jesus is on the right. In this discussion, I will disagree with some teachings of Christianity.
Contrary to Christian teachings, I say that we do know where Jesus was before he began his teachings and was crucified. Before, Jesus began to teach, I say that Jesus lived and studied in Greece and (1) taught at John 14:20 the statement of Anaxagoras (500-429 B.C.) that ‘each thing is in each thing;’ (2) taught at John 10:30 the Parmenides dialogue of Plato (427-347 B.C.): and (3) taught at Mark 7:23 the Greek mind of Plato and Aristotle as a thing ‘within.’ Further, in Matthew, Ch. 24 tells us that our sun will darken and tells us that we must leave this planet or be burned to death inside the sun.
Furthermore, Jesus taught self-knowledge in the Gospel of Thomas, a gospel that was not included in the New Testament. Yet this teaching is clearly delivered to a more intelligent audience because it shows no physical miracles, reveals no fulfilment prophesy, announces no apocalyptic event, dies for no one’s sin, critiques the end of the world, and invites us to join the quest for meaning of life.
Clearly, the teachings of Jesus Christ are far ahead of the practices of life at his time. In my book, The First Scientific Proof of God, I say that his teachings are ‘new and turbulent.’ Thus, through Nicholas of Cusa and Galileo, I say that the teachings of Jesus led to the beginning of modern science and brought an end to the awful life produced by Aristotle during the Middle Ages.
I say that the new and turbulent teachings of Jesus produce new knowledge about God and the universe, only humans can develop this form of knowledge. Thus, all humans have a divine nature. Since I say that mind and body are governed by different laws, Jesus and all other humans have two natures, divine and man. This dualism is the teaching of Nestorian Christianity. Other living things, such as apes, dogs, etc., have similar natures but cannot develop the knowledge that humans can develop. By having two natures, all living things have received souls. A living thing can thus be reincarnated by separating its soul from its body at death and received a new body.
Nestorianism was found by Nestorius (386- 451 AD). (Click) He taught that Jesus had the two natures that I identified above. He was Archbishop of Constantinople from 428 to 431 and was accused of heresy when he objected calling Jesus’ actual mother, ‘the Mother of God.’ I agree with Nestorius.
Interestingly, Islam’s Muhammad was also a follower of Nestorian Christianity. He demanded protection for Assyrian people of Mesopotamia. But the Assyrians eventually lost their autonomy when the region was conquered by the Ottoman Empire. Thirty thousand Assyrians were massacred because the view of Nestorius was widely accepted in the East and caused the separation of the Assyrian Church of the East from the Byzantine Church.
I conclude that all of the teachings of Jesus are consistence the Intelligent Design and the two natures of Jesus and other humans. Thus, saying that Jesus is the Only Son of God is wrong. I will show more evidence of this conclusion when I discuss the contributions of Gottfried Leibniz to the Intelligent Design.
