The Wholeness of a Human Being
The whole
ness of a human has two views. One view is mechanical and is the view of atheists and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) . The other view is spiritual and is the view of believers in God. Thus, only one view can be true. With the mechanical view, a human being has a body. This body has no life after death. With the spiritual view, a human being has a spirit and body. This spirit has life after death.
Since the mechanical view of a human being is the view of the NIH, aging humans are treated with mechanisms as diseases. Some of these diseases are as follows:
(1) Parkinson disease is a disorder of the brain that leads to shaking tremors and difficulty with walking movement, and coordination.
(2) Palsy disease is a term used in conjunction with several medical conditions. Although the exact cause, symptoms, and treatments vary from one condition to the next, all forms of palsy are characterized by a loss of motor function. Three common forms of palsy are cerebral palsy, Bell’s palsy, and biracial palsy.
(3) Alzheimer disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disease that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills, and eventually even the ability to carry out the simplest tasks. In most people with Alzheimer’s, symptoms first appear after age 60.
(4) Dementia is the loss of cognitive functioning—thinking, remembering, and reasoning—to such an extent that it interferes with a person’s daily life and activities.
(5) Lou Gehrig's Disease is a progressive neuro-degenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.
Today, this list of diseases are treated primarily with drugs and the new stem cells. The NIH authorizes these treatments but does not authorize religious healing. NIH does not authorize religious healing because the U.S. government accepts atheism but does not authorize religious healing.
I believe that all of these diseases above can be cured by spiritual healing.
