The Presidential Election in 2012
To develop compromises and lower debt and poverty both of these parties must begin to deal with our active God, the continuous life of people, and one religion. If they do not deal with these truths, I say that the USA will not improve at all because the the greedy rich, the atheists, and lawyers will continue to create a 'free-for-all' nation in which 'anything goes.'
At this time, the candidates of the republican party are congress persons, governors, Mormons, and business persons. Their focus is mostly on the U.S. economy, especially the economy of businesses and industries. Since the republican party is not interested in building an economy that serves all U.S. citizens, this economy will mostly serve the rich classes. So, if they win, we can expect the republicans to reduce the effectiveness of the health care system.
At this time, the Democratic party has only one candidate--- President Obama. His political ideas are focused on God and the life of people. As an independent voter and am a big thinker about God, I voted for him and made many blogs beginning on 1/23/09 to help Obama rebuild America. These blogs and my latest research on God would change the USA drastically.
Thus, I expect the next presidential election to be God vs. The Devil.

George a party that does not respect the sanctity of life, a party that asks for no personal responsibility, a party that would rather indroctinate rather than educate children, a party that promotes policies designed to enslave the very people they claim to champion, a party that will gladly keep the unemployment rate high as long as the unions are happy, a party that has openly disparaged the military, a party that would let farmers go out of business in order to save a lizard, a party that wants to criminalize cigarettes but legalize marijuana, a party that has an avowed socialist in the Senate and a "progressive caucus" that attacks American exceptionalism and tradition.
Yes George I can see who the Satan is in this election.

Response to David S. Wilkinson,
While I see problems with the Democratic party, I see many more problems with the Repoublican party. With the Democratic paty I can see the return the USA to God soon. I can't see that with the Republican party--- ever.
George.

George, the vast majority of Congressional Democrats are secular progressives that are trying to remove God from the public square. While I don't agree with Republicans on many issues when it comes to following God (including your active God)the Republicans are much closer than the Democrats.

Response to David S. Wilknson,
My own experience in government tells me that the White House is more powerful than the Supreme Court and Congress because it must sign the new laws.
Since President Obama is more powerful than Congress, I believe that the 2012 President will either lead us to God or to the Devil. Only the black business republica man is the candidate that might lead the republicans and us to God.
I believe that Obama has developed lots of influnce over the Democrats in Congress. He can thus remove lots of the secular beliefs in Congress.
George

I agree that Herman Cain is a much better candidate than he is given credit for. I stated a long time
ago my dream ticket would be Herman Cain and Alan Scott.
The checks and the balances put forth by the founders have lost their effectiveness as presidents do hold too much power due to their (and their contributors) influence over their party.
Obama is rapidly losing favor in his own party as well as with "independents" as his ideaology has encountered this pesky thing called reality and it could cause him to be a one term president and he can blame the Republicans and the Tea Party all he wants but if he wants to see what caused his downfall he need only look in the mirror.
