Remaking America by George Shollenberger, Idea XXXXXXXXXIV(A Nation Under God, XX)

If Judge Sonia Sotomayor is confirmed to the Supreme Court, she will become the sixth Roman Catholic of the nine justices. The other three justices are two Jews, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer and one Protestant, Paul Steven. As a diabetic, I would never accept such an important judicial position at the top of any nation because the thoughts and behaviors of a diabetic are not stable.

Beyond diabetes, confirmation means that the Supreme Court would become under virtually full control of the symbolic languages of the Catholic Church, these six Justices, the Vatican, and the Pope. Too often, people forget that the symbols of man’s languages form the mind of every human being. At 2/3 control of the Supreme Court, the Vatican and Pope can control the U. S. Supreme Court and thus the USA.

At this time, the USA is developing a very new nation with an excellent leader, President Obama. Knowing that no person is perfect, this development could be impeded or even stop this newness because the theological and scientific thoughts of the Vatican and Pope are wrong. For instance, Darwin’s evolution is wrong, the end of the world is wrong, and the Bible is not taught correctly. Further, Jesus was only a good thinker of his time. He was not God and cannot be worshiped as if he was God. The people of the USA should give members of the U.S. government only equal power. So, I think another person should be selected by President Obama.
