Jesus Christ Is Neither God Nor Lord
In the KJV
Bible, the word Lord means the God of Israel, Jesus, and Persons in Authority. The word Lord was defined this way because the Jews could not pronounce the sacred name, YHWH. This meaning is incorrect because (1) Jesus is neither God nor Lord and because (2) Persons in Authority are neither God nor Lord.
In my research on St. Mark in Chapter 10 of the New Testament, a follower called Jesus Christ, 'Good Master' in verse 17. In response to this follower in verse 18, Jesus asks, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is God. In this response, Jesus is telling us that he is neither God nor Lord. Unfortunately, many Christians call Jesus Christ 'Lord' and 'God.'' These names of Jesus Christ are wrong.
I suggest that Christians correct this major error.
