923. The Troubling Human Mind
After Benjamin Franklin died, George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson became presidents. Other presidents from James Madison to James Buchanan were not very exciting. Then Lincoln became the president, destroyed slavery, and began to extend the USA into the West with new States. However, the destruction of slavery led to Lincoln's assassination. After Lincoln, the first depression, and the WWI in France, came. (click) Then, a second depression came in 1929. On this year, I was born. When the economic depression came, many humans lost their jobs. Because of this depression, many children developed bodily problems, such as diabetes, hearing, and seeing. Many children were fed poorly and developed medical problems.
Eventually, the 1929 depression problem created a debate between Franklin D. Roosevelt and Herbert Hoover. In the debate, Hoover said that the depressing economy will recover itself and will not require any changes. I conclude that Hoover's mind and theory was based on physical science. Hoover's mind ;was rejected by Roosevelt because FDR's mind was influenced by socialism. Accordingly, FDR became the U.S. president in 1933. And, many people were returned to work in order to produce necessary things for people of the USA. Bernie Sanders said that FDR defended the social system of the USA. I say that say that the U.S. economy works only for 10% of the Americans, Thus, I conclude that Hillary Clinton is a lawyer and cannot make an economist go to work for all people. The Declaration of Independence of the USA says that 'all Men are created equal' by God. Why can't all humans be made equal with socialism and capitalism?
On April 12, 1945, FDR died. Thus, from 1945 to 2016, the Congress, Presidents, and the Supreme Court judges became interested mostly in capitalism. Thus, the U.S. Government never became interested in human lives, human minds, human bodies, socialism, the universe, and God. Accordingly, for many years only silly political debates between republican and democrats were heard. Several times I have suggested to abolish the U.S. Government. But, nothing happens.
Immanuel Kant's work went above the mind of the human senses and into the mind of reasoning. (click). Since reasoning was a new word, its meaning had to be developed. Eventually, Susanne K. Langer began to support Kant's work in 1942, when she said that sense-data are primarily symbolic. (click) Based on her work, she wrote the Philosophy In A New Key. Her first book on symbols was released in 1942, 1951 and 1957. (click) , (click) She died in 1985, but made new developments on symbols. Symbolic Interaction was put to work. (click)
Further, the book on the 'Tyranny of Words' (click) by Stuart Chace is important. These clicks must be studied because Chace worked for FDR. In the early 1990's at the Department of Justice Department, I was in deep thoughts on the human mind. Their, I met with people of Houston University. They said that many words are not developing properly. An example is the word duck, which are defined by two different boys. At home, one boy tells his Mother about the 'duck' in the pond. And, the other boy tells his Mother that he must 'duck' his head when her boyfriend swings at his head.
Essentially, I say that the USA and all other nations are in trouble because the true meaning of symbols are not being united and perfected. (click), (click) Thus, the political debates between capitalism and socialism must be unified and perfected.
