The Laws of Nature and Nature's God
The phrase, laws of nature and nature's God, is presented by our founders in the Declaration of Independence (DOI). Reflecting on the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1825 that its essential point was "not to find out new principles, or new arguments, never before thought of, not merely to say things which had never been said before; but to place before mankind the common sense of the subject."The True Foundation of American Law Essentially, Jefferson included the above phrase in his draft of the DOI. This phrase was also accepted by Ben Franklin and John Adms in their review of Jefferson's draft. So, in the DOI, this phrase was part of the first authority in the DOI. The other authority was a war with England.
Unfortunately, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the first authority of the DOI is not a law of the USA. This ruling removes the effect of 'the law of nature and nature's God' on the USA. This ungodly ruling divided the USA immediately. So, on 11/12/10 (on this website) I challenged the Supreme Court by showing that the first two paragraphs of the DOI is an 'authority' and thus identifies a law of the USA. I make this challenge in the blog titled, 'A Letter to John Rockefeller IV' because the Supreme Court accepts 'the laws of nature' but rejects 'and nature's God.' Apparently, the Supreme Court does not realize that the division of a nation will halt development an will degenerate its people intellectually.
ANSWERS says that 'the laws of nature and nature's God' refers to the laws established in the created universe and the laws established by the Creator. These laws can be observed or reasoned by use of one's conscience and would be observed and reasoned the same by all people throughout the world. Obviously, if one does not believe in a Creator their reasoning would not direct them to a full understanding of the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God.(Answers)
When the Supreme Court accepted 'the laws of nature' and rejected 'and nature's God,' the Court divided the field of science into nonbelievers and believers. This division separated science and theology by forcing stupidly the concept of 'nonsectarianism' into every college and university. The study of God (or theology) and the practice of God (or religion) are as different as night and day mentally. Research in 'science and theology simultaneously is natural in every nation.
On the subjects of 'laws of nature' and 'nature's God, the U.S. Supreme Court has turned the USA into a 'confused nation.' One side accepts only the law of nature. This side says that our world comes to an end. The other side accepts the laws of nature and nature's God. This side says that the world has no end because God is eternal. The cost of this two-sided debate cannot be afforded by any nation. The rising debt in the USA has a clear cause.

"You don't recognize," Cuomo ultimately declared, his voice quavering with emotion.
"He's unfit to be governor. He's a bad guy." I do not know,
I just anticipated some thing much, a lot more eloquent from Cuomo, even
if he was quavering.
