A Message to All Believers in God
The message below, about a Supreme Court error, was sent to the Letter to the Edito
r of The Journal in my area. It is time to make drastic reforms to the USA. This message will have a major impact on this reform. So, if you agree, please inform your TV station, local radio station, and newspaper about this awful error.
Supreme Court Error.
The US Supreme Court says that the Declaration of Independence is not a law. I say that the Court is wrong.
The USA is a new political experiment. The name of the old political philosophy is ‘the ruled vs. the rulers.’ John Locke identifies it as a political society. The philosophy of the new experiment is ‘the governed vs. the governing. Locke identifies the new experiment as a civil society. The experiment is guided by Locke’s social contract theory, which is found in his paper, The Second Treatise of Government. Locke identifies two contracts. This first contract is found in the US Declaration of Independence. This is an agreement among the governed States. This contract creates Locke’s society. The second contract is found in the US Constitution. This is an agreement between the governed and the governing. This contract creates Locke’s government.
The society and government form an indivisible Union. These two components thus come into existence together. In this new experiment, all US citizens in the society share their God-given rights with government.
In section 87, Locke says, ‘Those who are united into one body and have a common established law and judicature to appeal to, with authority to decide controversies between them and punish offenders, are in civil society one with another; ..."
By excluding the first contract from the body of US laws, the Supreme Court destroyed society. Its error also destroyed the new experiment and returned the USA to the ruled vs. the ruler political philosophy, where the new rulers are Washington lobbyists and their career Washington representatives. If this error is corrected, the USA will again become a nation under God.
