This special relationship and its endless number of spiritual atoms form the universe, which becomes a special finite whole. This special whole is the universe that God created. However, this special whole cannot be equated to a mechanical or physical whole. For instance, an automobile is a mechanical whole. It has parts such as a steering wheel. But unlike the special whole, the steering wheel is not ‘in’ every part of an automobile. In a mechanical whole, each part thus has a clear beginning and clear end.
The universe that God created is a special finite whole. It has parts, but they have no beginning or end. This is why we can’t find the beginning and end of anything in our bodies. Hegel calls this special finite whole an ‘organic unity.’ Today, we call it an organism. So the universe is not a mechanical or physical thing. Clearly, health care for the parts of our bodies is a difficult task. It seems that Hegel was connected to biologists who were interested in ’whole forming.’
My work and Hegel’s work are coming together nicely. Our work is exposing, little by little, the wrong paths on which our sciences and atheists are today.
