Theological Science* and Dialectical Thinking, II

In yesterday’s blog, I show that dialectical thinking is used when two opposing terms are not maximally different and God is not unifying them. Thus, it is with a difference of degrees that all things in the universe come from opposing terms that God unifies. Here is where logic shines God’s existence. Accordingly all things in the universe receive compositions from God.

When a composition is received by a thing from God, the thing has more from one term of the composition and less from the other term of the composition. Since God unifies terms is each composition, the concept ‘identity’ is an attribute of God and is not an attribute of any thing in the universe. Contrary to people who say that twins exist in the universe, it is correct to say that no two identical things exist in the universe. A composition in one thing is thus never found in any other thing found in the universe.

Since today’s physical sciences are focused primarily on process rather than objects, our knowledge of the laws of nature about things is hardly known. And contrary to the belief of atheists that all data are sensual, we can seek knowledge of things only with rational thoughts. As many linguists discovered in the 1920s, all sensual data are symbolic.

Theological science unifies scientific thoughts with people’s thoughts about God.
