Atheism Is Destroying the US Fields of Science and Mathematics
As I said in my August 2, 2007 blog, atheism began to grow in the USA when Madal
yn Murray O’ Hair won her Supreme Court case to remove prayers from public schools. This decision was in favor of the Constitution and the separation of State and Religion as mandated but was against the mandates we find in the Declaration of Independence on God. Since then, many US citizens, especially those in the newer generations, became atheists.
Young atheists, who became scientists and mathematicians, thought that they could develop new sciences and mathematics. They saw it as a ‘piece of cake,’ even saying that science would be completed soon. This kind of thinking became serious in the 1970s, after the US landed on the moon. Many of these new atheists contributed to the progress of the USA by transferring the new technologies of the space program to our citizens. This transfer peaked in the late 1980s with the Internet and personal computers. At the same time, other atheists sought government funds for godless research projects. They sought such funds because government agencies thought that God-research projects could not be funded by government. This is an error. While the Constitution separates State and Religion, it does not separate State and God. The concepts, religion and God, do not have the same meaning. So the US government has been thus violating the Declaration of Independence ever since the Dred Scott Supreme Court decision in 1857.
Today, scientists and mathematicians say that they can develop new sciences and mathematics without God. I have tried to inform them that God is necessary to build knowledge in all fields of thought. (click) Their error is proven by their failures to produce any major new science projects, ever since our retired scientists and mathematicians learned how to land on the moon. Essentially, the fields of science and mathematics in the USA are being destroyed by atheism.
