God’s Warriors by Christiane Amanpour (CNN), II
Yesterday, I discussed Amanpour’s three reports on God’s Warriors on August 21, 2
2, and 23, 2007. In this discussion, I concluded that these warriors are confusing the Western world religions --- Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. I concluded that these confusions are caused by modern man’s development of new knowledge about a monotheistic God. We now know that only two worlds exist - God’s world and the universe. We also know that both are endless. One must thus ask new questions, for instance, ‘what really happens to a person after death.’
The popular teaching of ‘after life’ is that after death a person passes onto a higher world called Heaven or a lower world called Hell. This teaching about Heaven can be questioned because only God can live in the higher world. The teaching about Hell can also be questioned because a world lower than the world in which we live does not exist. Further, there is no world in between God’s world and the world in which we live. So, the teaching that God will reward and punish people can also be questioned.
My scientific proof of God explains the origin of all finite things we will find in the universe. The answer is that they have their origin in a monotheistic God whose infinity is determinate. God’s infinity is not the indeterminate infinity used by scientists and mathematicians to find the finite things in the universe. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam must learn about God infinity and the impact of God’s infinity on the universe and our lives.
In general, I believe that these three religions are becoming confused because they are paying attention to the ancient seekers of truth such as Moses but are not paying attention to the modern seekers of truth such as Nicholas of Cusa.
