God’s Warriors by Christiane Amanpour (CNN), III

This is the third blog on Amanpour’s report on God’s Warriors on August 21, 22, and 23, 2007. Her report makes me wonder about the future of the warriors of God and what the warriors of the religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam will be talking about thousands of years from now. Certainly, if these religions only studying their own scriptures and never study science, they will be arguing the same subjects forever and will be at war forever. So, I hope that all religions will open their minds soon to modern science and other scriptures.

Opening one’s mind beyond scriptures to the truths of science is important. Opening one’s mind to science is necessary because a monotheistic God cannot talk to someone in our finite world from His infinite world. The modern truth about God is that God has no telephone or discursive language. Based on the infinity of a monotheistic God, one can question the religious teaching that scriptural words have been communicated by God to man. If one accepts the completed infinity of a monotheistic God, a person might conclude that scriptural words are man-made and reflect only man’s knowledge about God at the time that a specific scripture was made.

I investigated the conclusion about man-made scriptures. As a Christian, I focused my investigation on the New Testament. My investigation is found in my book and concludes that the words in the New Testament have a divine origin. They have a divine origin because the ideas formed in the New Testament are highly futuristic. Further, these words are usually well beyond man’s thoughts at that time.

My earlier research on a monotheistic God did conclude that a modern monotheistic God is active and must thus appear in our finite world. Such appearances overcome the inability of God to communicate to us from His infinite world. God's appearance in our world also allows God's intelligent design to include freedom in His endless creation. The purpose of God's appearance is to teach man about the futuristic nature of the endless universe that God created for us. So, I conclude that the New Testament is a futuristic and divine scripture. Hopefully, other religions investigate their scriptures also because my research on a monotheistic God is consistent with the endless appearances of God in our endless world.
