Seeing and Knowing God is Seeing and Knowing God's Intelligent Design

To expand yesterday's blog, in the pursuit of words that would allow him to see and know God, in the 15th century, Nicholas of Cusa sought the meaning of the word  'maximum.'  (Read 'On Learned Ignorance, Chs.1-5)  He found (1) that the greatest maximum is God and (2) that all other things are greater or less. So  he saw clearly that God is an unchanging thing and that all finite things that come from God are changing.

So, by finding that God is the absolute maximum and absolute minimum, Cusa found that God and the Universe are actually connected and form a single world with many different words, as I said yesterday. Cusa found that both an unchanging (God) and all changing (finite things) form a dialectical pair of words, which form a single world.

It is with these dialectical words that people can define God's Intelligent Design of our world. I reject the 'intelligent design' of the theory of evolution.
