47e.The Declaration of Independence is a Law That Changes the Constitution.
Locke's contract theory became law in the Declaration of Independence (DOI) on July 4, 1776. Locke's social contract theory was drafted by Thomas Jefferson and became law after Jefferson draft was modified by Ben Franklin and John Adams. Thus, the DOI contains laws that express Locke's social contract theory. The DOI also included an authority to go to war against England. For Senator Rockefeller IV to say that the DOI has no laws is an error in thought.
I say that all debates for presidency and Congress must deal continually with the DOI so that new laws can be added to the Constitution in order to form a more perfect Union. These new laws tell us where we are going. Thus, it is time to change the U.S. Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Presidency. These three branches must learn how to work together.
Since Senator Rockeffeller IV says that the DOI has no laws, I believe that he and his followers in Congress should retire from the U.S. Congress immediately. Members of Congress, who accept Locke's social contract theory, should continue their work in forming a more perfect Union.
Again, I say that President Obama is moving forward correctly and that candidate Romney will turn the USA into an oligarchy.
