Understanding God and His Universe

Since God is incomprehensible, most believers say that they can gain understandings about God. In his "Critique of Pure Reason," Immanuel Kant says that our understandings produce reasoned concepts that originate in the senses where intuition and thought begin. And his "Phenomenology of Spirit," Friedrich Hegel says that our understandings also have a force. Today, we read about 'Understanding by Design' (UbD) in the field of education. (click)

Note. The understandings of Kant and Hegel deal with the things that God made and that the UbD deals with the understandings that man has already found about some of the things made by God.

At Rom. 1:20, Paul said, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power, and Godhead; so are without excuse." So, ever since the time of Abraham, who rejected idolatry and identified the Onassis of God, man has only sought the understandings of God by studying what God made.

In 1967, when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled to remove prayers from public schools, the high Court authorized atheism to be practiced in the USA. Over the last forty-two years, the practice of atheism has lured more and U.S. scientists and mathematicians away from God with the result that man's understandings have been focused, no longer on the things that God made, but on the universe. But, the Supreme Court ruling did not only take God away from our scientists and mathematicians. This same court took God away from all U.S. citizens because U.S. lawyers argue that the Declaration of Independence was only a declaration of war. Their argunent is a major error. The truth is that the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence install John Locke's social contract. And these paragraphs identify 'The United States of America' as a nation under God. The remaining words in the Declaration of Independence form a second authority, the authority to go to war against England, but only if England starts the war.

U.S. scientists and mathematicians must act so they can return to God and continue the work of understanding the things that God made. Further, I say that the practice of atheism is unlawful in the USA.
