Unifying State and Theology and Maintaining the Separation of State and Religion in the USA

The idea of State and Religion separation originate with three sayings in the founding documents of the United States of America. First, Amendment I of the US Constitution says ‘Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.’ Second, the Constitution’s Preamble says, ‘We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, ...’ Thirdly, the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence say essentially that the United States of America is ‘a nation under God.’

In my book, The First Scientific Proof of God, I prove that God exists and that State must be separated from religion, but cannot be separated from Theology (theories of God).. In my blog dated 10/11/07, I prove scientifically that the constitutional words ‘in order to form a more perfect Union’ require that all perfections of the United States must be measured with a standard of perfection, which is God. In this same blog, I prove scientifically that the United States of America was founded as ‘a nation under God.’

I argue that a godly nation becomes irrational if it separates itself from Theology. Theology is a field of thought that develops studies of God and God’s relations to our world. These studies and relations are necessary by godly nations because such studies (1) increase human knowledge about God and (2) perfect the human activities of the people of a godly nation. However, a godly nation will become increasingly irrational if it does not separate itself from religion. This irrationality arises because religions practice specific theologies, which will change continually and forever. A godly nation can thus become increasingly irrational when new theological knowledge emerges but is not practiced by religions. This is what has happened when I offered new theological proofs in my book and on this website. Unfortunately, many religions have a tendency to cast their theology into concrete. This tendency causes a religion to become out-dated. However, modern science and theology inform us that our knowledge about God and His universe can never be completed.

To unify State and Theology, the US government should reform itself so that State and Theology become one. Thus, the US and State government must develop a new and well-funded Departments of Theology. Perhaps, some personnel in the Defense Department could be very useful in the start-up phase of this new and very important government department.Since both the field of theology and the field of sience seek truths, this new department should be named the Department of Theology and Science. It would include the current agency, the National Science Foundation. A new foundation, the National Theology Foundation, would then be added. These two foundations would unify Theology and Science in the USA. This new deportment would cause atheism to fade away and return God to the USA.
